Major Degrees

AOH Degrees

The next opportunity to obtain the Major Degrees of our Order will be held in the Main Ballroom at the AOH PA State Convention in Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 1, 2009, hosted by the Allegheny County Board at the Radisson Hotel Pittsburgh in Green Tree, PA.

Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end promptly at 10:55 a.m. The Shamrock Degree will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. and the Major Degree will follow shortly after.

Cost will be $20 to the candidates, plus $5 if they'd like to purchase a Degree Pin. Cost for observers is $10.

To help us better estimate the number of Degree candidates that will attend, you may pre-register for the event using the internet on our State website enrollment page at http://www.paaoh.org/degrees.html. Otherwise, please arrive for registration at the hotel as instructed above.

Directions:

From the PA Turnpike, take exit 57 to merge onto I-376 West toward US-22/Pittsburgh.
Follow for 15 miles, then merge onto I-279 South.
After .1 miles, take exit 4A toward Crafton.
After .4 miles, turn left at Mansfield Ave/PA-121
Continue to follow Mansfield Avenue for .2 miles
Make a slight right at Radisson Drive

LAOH Degrees

The exemplification of Degrees of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Inc. will be given at the 95th Biennial Pennsylvania State Convention in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 12:00 pm, at the Radisson Hotel. The Degrees will be conferred by the Allegheny County Claddagh Degree Team. Registration will begin at 11:00 am.

This will be an excellent opportunity for members to receive Degrees or, if you have received your Degrees, to observe the ceremony.Please complete the form below and mail your check to Jean O'Malley, 850 Baldwin Street, Apt., #516, Castle Shannon, PA 15234-2282. The fee for the Degrees is $20.00 per person. Observer's fee is $10.00 per person. (Observers must have received their Degrees.)
